– Quality – Experience – Compromise –

Established in 2015, Ethical peruvian knitwear eirl has a shared history with Peru. During all this time, our objective has been clear: to design, produce and directly export a natural, comfortable garment for all seasons, made by our people with fair trade principles, ensuring the quality and ethics of our products on every occasion.

In our history we have worked with brands from around the world: the United States, England, Chile, Australia and Brazil, to name a few. We often participate in fashion fairs such as Peru Moda, where the best of Peruvian fashion is displayed.

We are committed to Social Responsibility, it is the reason for our desire to increase sustainable development within our organization and stakeholders.

Our main guarantee seals in this matter are our achievements obtained through promperu in different international events where we participate with the name of Alpaca Azul, our parent company. Now as EPK we are more committed to the principles of fair trade and sustainable fashion, since we understand the importance that these issues are taking in the fashion industry.

PERUVIAN ALPACA FIBER

Alpacas are domestic species from South America, they are camelids that look like small llamas. One of the most luxurious and soft natural fibers is sheared from them, even lighter, warm and durable than sheep’s wool or cashmere.
Originally from the Peruvian Andes, alpaca fiber was commonly called “Fiber of the Gods” by the Ancient Incas. During the summers, the animals are shorn for their fiber, which is then twisted to produce yarns for both machine and hand-woven products.

The shearing process does not harm or harm the animals.

ALPACA AZUL products are made from the finest qualities of fiber. Our designs are interpretations of traditional techniques and methods that have been used through many generations. We strive to preserve the culture and techniques in hopes that these artisans are able to pass their art on from generation to generation and thus create a sense of security for themselves and their families.

Care Recommendations Small items such as gloves can be hand washed using mild soap or a special natural fiber washing product, and then placed on a flat surface to dry.

Larger flat knit items like scarves, blankets, etc. they must be dry cleaned necessarily. Please note that some slight shrinkage can occur with our Baby alpaca products and should decrease over time.
